PhD candidate in the Translational Research in Public Health and High-Prevalence Diseases Programme at the University of the Balearic Islands (2020–present), with a thesis project focused on radiomic analysis using contrast-enhanced CT to predict therapeutic response and survival in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma treated with transarterial chemoembolisation.
Master’s Degree in Clinical Research in Medicine, Universidad Miguel Hernández (2018), with a final thesis entitled
“Locoregional delivery of rapamycin via hepatic chemoembolisation with radiopaque drug-eluting seeds: characterisation of pharmacokinetic profiles and tissue release in a porcine model.”

Medical Specialisation in Diagnostic Radiology via residency training (Hospital Universitari Son Dureta, 2005–2009), with subspecialty training in Interventional Vascular Radiology.

Collaborating lecturer in the Master’s Programme in Aesthetic Medicine (University of the Balearic Islands) since 2010, providing training in dermatological and aesthetic ultrasound.
Collaborating lecturer in the Expert Course on Interventional Techniques for Chronic Pain (Universidad Francisco de Vitoria / SEMDOR) since 2022.
Tutor in the Master-Fellowship Programme in Interventional Radiology (University of Zaragoza / SERVEI) since 2023.

Research:
Her research focuses on interventional radiology and quantitative medical imaging, with a particular interest in hepatic oncology. Main research lines include:
- Radiomics and artificial intelligence applied to liver cancer.
- Clinical-radiological predictive models of response to TACE.
- Application of high-resolution ultrasound to the assessment of dermal filler patterns.
She has been principal investigator and collaborator in competitive funded projects, including:
- Multicentre study on rapamycin drug-eluting seeds (VHIR, 2017–2018).
- Radiomics applied to hepatocellular carcinoma (HUSE-IdISBa, 2020–2025).
- ADEMA Foundation Young Investigator Award 2025.
She has presented at more than 15 national and international scientific conferences, including RSNA, CIRSE, ECR, ECIO and SERVEI, and has recently published two scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
Editorial Board member of the Revista Virtual de Radiología (SERAM) and Insights into Imaging (abdominal section).
Collaborating member of the SCOPIA group (IdISBa).
Participant in competitive research projects on interventional radiology and radiomics.
She has undertaken research fellowships at internationally recognised centres, such as Universitätsklinikum Mannheim, towards the international mention of her PhD degree.
Professional experience:
With over 15 years of experience in both public and private healthcare, she currently works as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Hospital Universitario Son Espases (since 2019).
Vice-president of SERVEI, the Spanish Interventional Radiology Society (since 2025).
Previous positions as a specialist radiologist in other institutions include Hospital Vall d’Hebron (Barcelona), Clínica Rotger, and Juaneda Hospitals.
