Brief CV
Aina Ferrero Horrach (PhD) (Palma, 1985) graduated in Art History from the University of the Balearic Islands. She also attended La Sapienza University in Rome and Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She obtained the Award for Excellence in Academic Performance upon completion of her studies. Master's degree in Art Market & Appraisal (Instituto Superior de Arte de Madrid) and Master's degree in Cultural Management Research (UOC University). She worked for the Cultural Action Department of the Jeu de Paume Museum in Paris in 2015 and started her own cultural management project (Ciceró dArt), also in 2015. She received the Ciutat de Palma Award in 2016 in the Humanities category. She currently works as director of the Museum of Footwear and Industry in Inca, as art critic for Diario de Mallorca an also as professor of 19th-century Art and Museography & Museology at the University of the Balearic Islands.
She has a PhD from the University of the Balearic Island based on the transformation of museum institutions through community participation and visitor research from the standpoint of Social Museology.
