--PhD in Law from the Spanish University of Navarre with a thesis on an Urbanism Law subject, which was qualified with SOBRESALIENTE CUM LAUDE (MAGNA CUM LAUDE).
--The PhD thesis also reached the EXTRAORDINARY PRIZE AWARD of the School of Law of the University of Navarre for the year 1974.
--Lecturer in Civil Law at the Universidad de Navarra from 1975 to 1979.
--Senior Lecturer in Civil Law at the University of Granada from 1979 to 1984.
--Full tenured Professor in Civil Law at the University of Valencia in 1984.
--Currently is full tenured Professor in Civil Law at the University of Balearic Islands from 1986.
--Director of Private Law Department of the University of Balearic Islands from 1993 to 2001.
--Chairman of the Academic Comission of the Doctorate in Law Programme of the University of Balearic Islands from 2012.
--Single author of four research books on several topics of Spanish Civil Law, the title of which are the following ones:
--La configuración jurídica del volumen de edificabilidad, Pamplona, 1975, 400 pages (PhD thesis).
--Contrato y derecho de opción, 2 eds, Madrid, 1982, 1987, 300, 320 pages.
--La multipropiedad, Madrid, 2007, 300 pages.
--Legislación estatal del suelo y Derecho civil, Madrid, 2008, 166 pages.
--Author of almost 90 legal research works as articles in specialized reviews or chapter in books, both national or international on all the subjects of Civil Law, and also on Urbanism Law, Consumer Protection Law and Law of Tourism.
--Director of the Research Group on Law of Tourism of the University of Balearic Islands.
--Speaker in many national and international Congresses and scientific meetings on all the topics and subjects of the research lines.
--PR in several research projects supported with public funds obtained after a competitive concurrence process.
