Palma (Mallorca) 1958. Degree in Mathematical Sciences (1980). Doctor in Mathematics (1994) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Secondary Education Teacher (1983 to 1998). University Professor since 1998. University Associated Professor (2001 to 2021). University Full Professor of Applied Mathematics since 2021. Teaching in Biology, Industrial Engineering and Mathematics. From 2008 to 2015 he was director and head of Mathematics studies at the Escola Politècnica Superior de la Universitat de les Illes Balears.

Research line: Dynamic Systems and Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations. In particular, periodic solutions of differential equations, solutions with slow-fast behavior, bifurcations of periodic orbits in systems of differential equations in the plane and in space.

Principal Investigator of the National Spanish research project PID2020-118726GB-I00, 'Differential Equations, Abelian differential Equations, Synaptic Conductance, Limit Cycle, Neuroscience, Canard Cycles, Bursting, Piece Linear Differential System, Bifurcations' (2021-2024). This project is shared with members of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Extremadura.
