    Pere Jaume Alzina Seguí, teacher, pedagogue, psycho-pedagogue and Doctor in Educational Science for the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). Master in Learning Strategies for the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). Professor in Catalan (teaching methodology and didactics I and II for linguistic and cultural formation courses ICE-UIB).

    Teaching positions: Santa Catalina School, Robert Graves School in Deia and Francesc d'Albranca d'Es Migjorn Gran School (exercising tasks as Head of Department and Headmaster). In secondary school I worked as a school counselor at IES Josep Miquel Guàrdia in Alaior and as a Headmaster. Adviser in the Center for Teachers in Menorca; teacher in the Center for Curricular Development, an organization dependent on the Ministry of Education and Science. I gave courses and conferences regarding educational orientation and the new educational structure of the LOGSE.

    Associate teacher at the University of the Balearic Islands in Menorca since its creation in 1997. Subjects taught: General Didactics, The Anthropology of Education, Pyscho-pedagogy of Secondary Education, Design, Development and Innovation of the Curriculum; Learning of Languages in Multilingual Contexts, Experience I and II in Pre-School Education; Processes and Contexts and Interaction and Mediation in the classroom in the Master's Degree Teacher Training. Lesson Coordinator in the Education Faculty in the UIB in Menorca since the academic year 2007 and Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training since 2010. Coordinator for courses in the Senior Open University since 2003.

    Through courses in the network of Teaching Centers in the Departament of Education in the Balearic Islands I taught for 1886 hours from course year 1991. This included didactics of language, attention to diversity, inclusive education, basic skills, project work (topic) and learning contexts. I also taught for 715 hours in other autonomous regions (Madrid, Basque Country, Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia and Extremadura).

    I am also a member of the group Studies of the History of Education (GEDHE) and the principal researcher for the group Research and Innovation for Education in Menorca (GRIEM). I have had published diverse articles in educational magazines and books related to research topics (History of Education, Attention to diversity, didactics of language and project work - topics-). I have made ​​presentations at various conferences on the issues raised.
