Double Degree in Mathematics and Telematics (2013)
The double degree in Mathematics and Telematics is suitable for students who have taken Advanced Mathematics at high school and have the following abilities:
- Analysis and reflection
- Abstract reasoning and problem solving
- Verbal and written communication
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to understand, analyse and summarise
It is also important to bear in mind that since this double degree includes the skills and knowledge on each of the separate degrees, high marks in high school studies and an ability for individual work are recommended.
Since this is a dual degree programme, there is not a single Accreditation and Credit Transfer Committee (CRiTC) but rather two: the CRiTC for the Degree in Telematics Engineering and the CRiTC for the Degree in Mathematics. The members of these committees may be verified in the corresponding sections on the individual degree pages.
In order to be awarded the degree, students must show that they have reached a level of English by the end of their course that equates to level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), in accordance with how this requirement is stipulated in the curriculum. The way to attain this knowledge is by passing the specific English language course on the curriculum.
Regulatory Agreement 10714/2013, whereby the regulations for awarding academic accreditation for participation in university cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation activities are approved.
