  2. Knowing the main periods, authors and works of literature in the Catalan language.
  3. Knowing the fundaments of Catalan cultural history (aesthetic movements and cultural studies).
  4. Being able to critically evaluate bibliographic information relating to Catalan language and literature.
  5. Knowing the different currents of thought in linguistics and in literary theory and criticism.
