Brief CV

Dr. Adrià Muntaner Mas (Palma, 1988) is a professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics at the University of the Balearic Islands since the academic year 2013-2014.

He holds a Bachelor in Physical Education Teaching (2010) and a Bachelor of Sciences in Physical Activity and Sports (2012). He obtained a PhD with a thesis entitled:'La prescripción de ejercicio físico a través de las aplicaciones móviles y su impacto sobre la salud en personas de edad avanzada'.

His research lines are focused on the study of the effects of physical exercise on health. Currently, he is a collaborator researcher in two research projects, one at a national level and other at international. In addition, Adrià is a member of two research groups (GICAFE and PROFITH).
