Brief CV
In 2011 I graduate in Mathematics from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB), which one of the courses was attended at the University of Granada, thanks to a grant from Exchange System between Spanish University Centers (SICUE). In 2012 I had recieve a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computing by the University of Cantabria. Since 2012 I am an Assistant Lecturer at the Universitat de les Illes Balears.
At this moment, I am a PhD student in Information Technologies and Communications under the direction of Dr. Mercé Llabrés Segura and Dr. Ricardo Alberich Martí. Its main line of research focuses on bioinformatics, specifically in systems biology. In particular, we study the protein interaction networks, to predict protein interactions that are still unknown and new functions of these proteins.
During my time as a student, I was vice president of the National Association of Maths Students from 2009 to 2011 and president of the association in 2012. Also in 2012, I was a member of the organizing committee of the Third International Conference on Symbolic Computation and Cryptography and Third Workshop on Mathematical Cryptology, both performed at the International Center for Mathematical Meetings (CIEM) in Castro Urdiales, Cantabria. In 2013, I was member of the organizing committee XIV National Students of Mathematics (ENEM), held at the Universitat de les Illes Balears.
I have attended several international courses, among which the First International School on Biomolecular and Biocellular Computing held in Osuna in 2011, the EACA's First International School on Computer Algebra and its Applications held in Costa Adeje (Tenerife) also in 2011 and I Third Summer School in Computanional Biology held in Belfast in 2014.
