Born in Palma de Mallorca. Professor of the University School of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since 1998. Graduated in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1987).
PhD in Economics from the UIB in the Economic Globalization and Social Welfare program (2016)
Deputy Director of Administration of SAS SERVICE PARTNER S.A. (1990-1992), Deputy Director of Administration of I.H.R.E.S.A. (1992 -1994).
Secretary of the University School of Business Studies (2003-2009) and Secretary of the Faculty of Economics and Business (2009-2013).
Teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). The latest subjects taught are 'Financial Management III' in the Business Administration Degree and 'Introduction to Financial Markets and Operations' in the Economics Degree and in the Business Administration Degree.
The current line of research Economic History of the Company, Family Business, Networks and business codes of the chueta collective XIX and XX centuries.
