What is it made up of?

The main aim of the degree in Social Education programme is to train professionals in the theoretical and practical knowledge that enables them to work effectively, critically, and responsibly in the different fields of social education.

What will you learn?

Students will acquire interdisciplinary competencies that are fundamental, personal, interpersonal, and social in nature, as well as psycho-socio-pedagogical abilities related to having an understanding and knowledge of processes and contexts for socio-educational intervention and the use and application of techniques and instruments needed for such interventions. Students will also be taught how to understand, speak, and write in English.

Social education has an incredibly wide selection of potential professional pathways in the fields of:

  1. Family education.
  2. Community development.
  3. Social integration.
  4. Leisure, entertainment and cultural management education.
  5. Social and educational intervention in childhood and for youth.
  6. Social and educational intervention for adults and seniors.
  7. Social and educational intervention in diversity.
  8. Social and educational intervention in schools.
