He was born in Valdagno, Italy (1978). He is associate professor at University of Balearic Islands from 2013. He has a Bachelor degree in Economics at University of Verona (2002) - cum laude, a master in Economics at CORIPE (2003), and a PhD in Economics at University of Verona (2007).
He taught at undergraduate (University of Verona and University of the Balearic Islands) and graduate level (Paris School of Economics and University of Verona).
His research activity is devoted to public economics (microsimulation, behavioural microsimulation, CGE integration in microsimulation models), economics of addiction (theoretically and empirically, with a special interest toward alcohol consumption), household economics (theoretically and empirically, mainly within the collective consumption framework), children welfare (using collective models to assess individual welfare measures), labour economics (discrete choice models) and economics of crime (at micro and macro levels).
He published in several international reviews, as Economica, Applied Economics, Children and Youth Service Review and Review of Income and Wealth. He also published book chapters for editorials as Routledge Economics. He participated to several reports for the European Parliament, the European Commission, and several Governments of several countries as France, Italy and Israel.
HE participated to several projects (public and private) at the European, International and National level.
