He recieved a predoctoral grant to pursue his PhD and he became a doctor in Information and Communication Technologies in 2022 at UIB. Currently he is an associate lecturer (Ajudant doctor) in the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at the UIB.

He belongs to the research group of Mathematical Analysis and Processing of Images (TAMI) at UIB. His research areas are computer vision and mathematical digital image processing. More specifically, his research focuses in the detection of geometrical structures in images and registration of multi-exposure images. He has recently visited the Computer Vision group at University of Siegen (Germany), where he did research on the reconstruction of images from inverse problems.

Currently he is giving lectures on Mathematics II - Calculus in the Bachelor of Computer Science and on Laboratory of Software and Problems I at the Bachelor of Mathematics. On the past, he gave lectures on Linear Algebra II at the Bachelor of Mathematics.
