Dr Carlos Mulet Forteza
Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1975. PhD Professor in the area of Economic Finance and Accounting of Department of Business Economics at the UIB. PhD in Economics from the University Jaume I of Castellón (2010). Master in Accounting from the UIB (2010). Degree on Business Administration (2001) and a Diploma in Business and Economics (2000) from the UIB.
The research has focused on two main themes: tourism management and accounting for non-profit entities. This research has resulted in the publication of papers in journals such as International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Economics and Computational and Mathematical Organization Theory. He has also been published by editors such as Springer, Pyramid and Ramon Areces. In 2003, he received the Tribuna FITUR-Jorge Vila Fradera. He has also participated in research projects on tourism and is also a member of the research group on 'Environmental Management Accounting and social organizations (ONGs).'
Teaching has been given primarily in the undergraduate studies in Business Administration, Diploma in Tourism, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor in Tourism, Business Administration and Management, Bachelor in Economics and double degree in Business Administration and Management Business and Law. The latest subjects taught are 'Financial Accounting I' and 'Financial Accounting II' for the degree on Business Administration and on Tourism.
